What is temperature mapping, in simple terms?
It is a study in which many temperature data loggers are temporarily placed throughout a room to see where it is warmer, where it is colder and where the temperature fluctuates the most. The results determine where products can be stored and where the permanent sensors should go.
How does mapping differ from monitoring?
Mapping is a one-off study with a large number of logger positions, carried out before a storage area is put into operation and after changes. Monitoring is continuous control at a small number of points selected based on the mapping results.
What does the client need to prepare?
A floor plan with dimensions, the rack height, the location of doors, windows, HVAC equipment and existing sensors, the storage temperature ranges and the operating schedule. Access to the site to place and collect the instruments.

Yes. Our specialists place the loggers on site; for small facilities, we can also ship pre-configured data loggers with instructions, if the protocol allows it.
